We had the pleasure of visiting HolyChoco to sample their new menu as food critics and bloggers, and the experience was a sweet journey with a few savory detours. We began with their savory items, starting with the smoked salmon crepe. This dish garnered mixed feelings from our team—it’s definitely an acquired taste. While the combination of smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers works wonders on a bagel, it didn’t translate as seamlessly into a crepe. Next, we tried the Caesar salad, which had good flavor but leaned heavily on croutons, leaving us wishing for a better balance with the lettuce. On to the sweets, where HolyChoco truly shines. The two shakes we tried were fresh, flavorful, and received rave reviews—one of our team members remarked, “You could have sold me on just this!” The standout of the menu was the Dubai Chocolate Crepe. This dessert was a delight—perfectly balanced without being overly sweet like some other spots we’ve visited. The crunchy knefe layers added texture, and watching the preparation process was an added treat. It was both visually impressive and delicious. We also indulged in HolyChoco’s famous Ferris Wheel, a miniature Ferris wheel loaded with customizable treats like fruits, and sweet snacks. Accompanied by three chocolate dips—milk, dark, and white—it was a fun and interactive experience, perfect for sharing. The ability to tailor the fillings adds a nice personal touch to this signature offering. Overall, HolyChoco excels in its sweet creations. Our verdict? Stick to the sweets—this is where HolyChoco truly shines. While the savory items are a nice addition, they shouldn’t be the primary reason to visit. For a dessert-focused outing, HolyChoco offers a memorable and indulgent experience that we’d happily recommend. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (lost a star due to the savoury food items) Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (the person serving us was wonderful, very patient and sweet. But she was working alone and looking at other customer reviews, we can see how frustrating people can get if many other customers were there with us that evening) Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (near popular spots and plenty of parking, unless the neighbouring businesses get crowded.) Atmosphere/Vibe: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great music, love the neon lighting, but was missing some vibe to the place in contrast to other dessert spots)

They have such an extensive menu, we had the lotus cookie and pistachio cookie which were really good, I also had the mint limonade, a banana milkshake, and a glass of milk, I would really recommend also open late so perfect for late night dessert

Even though the drinks and desserts are a bit more expensive than other dessert stores, the sizes are pretty reasonable. I especially enjoyed their milkshake because it was just the right level of sweetness but I was also getting tired of the flavour by the end of it. I wish they had options for smaller portions at a cheaper price. We really wanted to try some of their desserts but most of us just had a big dinner and were pretty full so wuen we saw the portions, we ended up only getting a drink instead.

An amazing place to go for late night drinks! We were craving something sweet and their timings are super good (open till 2:30am). I was greeted by Muhammad, the employee who was super nice and recommended me the best milkshake they had. Ended up taking the Biscoff milkshake. Would give it a 9/10! Sweet and very aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely be coming here more often!
